Amo Ergo Sum
site dedicated to the meditation of the mysteries of the Rosary
Seeking to know from God what thing I could do, the which would be most acceptable unto Him, He did of His mercy many times appear unto me,
both sleeping and waking, and appearing fastened upon the Cross
He did bid me gaze upon His wounds,
and in a marvellous manner He did make me to know how that He had borne all things for me ;
The Voice of Christ
MY CHILD,
I came down from heaven for your salvation and took upon Myself your miseries, not out of necessity but out of love,
that you might learn to be patient and bear the sufferings of this life without repining.
From the moment of My birth to My death on the cross, suffering did not leave Me.
I suffered great want of temporal goods. Often I heard many complaints against Me. Disgrace and reviling I bore with patience.
For My blessings I received ingratitude, for My miracles blasphemies, and for My teaching scorn.
The Voice of Christ
MY CHILD,
patience and humility in adversity are more pleasing to Me than much consolation and devotion when things are going well.
vive Jésus, Vive Marie, Vive Joseph
But we are preaching Christ crucified. Certainly, to the Jews, this is a scandal, and to the Gentiles, this is foolishness.
Corinthians : {1:23}
This is so important that he insists saying to Galathians{1:8} But if anyone, even we ourselves or an Angel from Heaven, were to preach to you a gospel other than the one that we have preached to you, let him be anathema.
(Galates 1, 8)
And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; 4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; 5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. 6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
(Roman 5 , 3-10)
19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. 20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
(Roman 5 , 19-20)
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
(Roman 8 , 28-29)
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
(Roman 12 , 1-2)
